《Confessions of a Shopaholic》
●a lighthearted story with a happy ending; With Becky's amused thoughts poped up from time to time, at least you'll enjoy this reading.
●Very impressive. The author is very good at pushing the protagonist to the corner that she has no place to go. The most impressive thing she always did is 'calm down', no matter how difficult and embrass it's, that is always going to be a way to go through with it.... Surely, the end of this book is kind of weak, comparing with the main part.
●Happy ending啊
●Interesting! Reflection of every woman.
《Confessions of a Shopaholic》读后感(一):《Confessions of a Shopaholic》

《Confessions of a Shopaholic》
《Confessions of a Shopaholic》读后感(三):When good luck falls upon a girl,...
I've never read a book about shopaholics. I often think shopaholics will not label them as shopaholics because they do not have time for retrospection let alone confessions until something real bad happens and gives them a real heavy blow on the head. Rebecca Bloomwood is just like that. She never takes overdraft too seriously. She buys whatever she likes, especially name brands, thinking that she deserves those treats especially after a tiring day at work. Although working as a journalist for a financial magazine and gives financial advices all the time, she never listens to or follows her own advices. When piles of visa bills come, she doesn’t seem to realize she should stop shopping; she still keeps buying everything that will cheer her up until all her cards are unavailable to use anymore. Then Rebecca buys a book about how to save money and starts the journey of living a frugal life. But for girls like Rebecca, you may easily predict what may happen next. She even finds her numerous excuses to buy more stuff. Like when she is told instead of buying coffee at Starbucks, she should bring coffee from home, so what she needs to do is to buy a flask. Instead of buying takeouts from a restaurant, she should spend more time at home and does the cooking for her. So she needs to buy cooking books, new cooking utensil, ingredients and etc. So when the new bill comes, Rebecca becomes motionless. After figuring out saving money is not her style, she decides to plan on making more money. She tries to work as a temp sale at a store but unfortunately she gets fired on her very first day at work, she tries to make flames and mail them for money but it turns out that she is not good at art, either. When such fails and the bill amounts become larger and larger, she has to flee to her parents’ house and avoid the bank calls. This is a rather tough time for Rebecca; however, it is this time of thinking things over, does she understand she should change. When she decides to change, it seems that luck goes her way. She manages to write a good article of financing and be invited to go on television for interview. When this all happens, Rebecca’s life turns a complete new leaf. She does not only pay off all her debts but also win the heart of an entrepreneur Luke Brandon. Good for Rebecca!
