The question is today what is love.Quite a qustion.
实际上 看到这个问题
As a matter of fact,when I stopped to look at it，
我就想问 什么不是爱
I found myself asking what is not love.
因为一切都是爱
ecause everything is love.
And all we'er doing in our experience of life
is learning what love is all about.
我们的本质其实是无条件的爱
And our true nature is itself unconditional love.
实际上 你是一个人
In fact，you are a human being，
一个扮演人这个角色的存有
you are a being playing the human role.
这个在你内的存有 是灵性的
And the being part is the spiritual part，
the true part，the lasting part in you.
ut of corse we forget about it and indulge in the human.
而一直做人也让人难以忍受
And it becomes nothing but a chore.
你也许会问 为什么我要做人
Then you might say why is the human necessary.
The human experience after all it requires a lot of maintenance.
吃饭 睡觉
Feeding it.Sleeping it.
Taking care of the body is a full-time job.
为什么要这么做呢 因为我们只有通过好好做人
why is it necessary?Because it is only through the human.
that we learn the trun unconditional love nature of our being.
In our human experience，if we have been.
没有感受过爱
rought up without love in our initial years，
一到七年 或者更久
one to seven years or so.
We substitute our need for love through
来填补我们对爱的需求
the need for success for power and control
And that is an inevitable process of expression.
因此 如果我们缺爱
o no matter how we look at it，
life is full of hard knocks.
And the human is not a happy camper.
可是 为什么说人生就是在表达爱呢？
ut then，how is living the human life love itself?
其实真是如此
Oh my dear,It is.
因为 我们一直在学习理解什么是爱
ecause all we are learning is what love is about
什么是无条件的爱 举个例子
which is unconditional love.For example，
什么是最好的教导
What is the greatest teaching?
学得最好 也就教得很好
The greatest learning that we'll go through.
ome people go through different religions，philosophies，
ychology and metaphysics and ete.
ut the greatest learning and the only real learing is
And listen to this.This is very important.
就是宽恕自已——学会爱自已
is self compassion--learning to love you.
你是一个人 一个扮演人的存在
You are a human being and a being playing the human role.
你若能尝试着这么去看 这么去做
And when you begin to glimpse even a little bit，
you will find that life is full of meaning.
做人无须感到痛苦
The discomfort of being human is no longer a problem，
做人只是一个课题
ut a lesson that we are to learn.
如果你们不爱我们的神圣本质 那我们会非常痛苦
If we do not love who we are，then we suffer grwatly，
and we go flown through many lifetimes
until we begin to really look at life itself and the human form.
耶稣就是在演戏 他背着十字架
This is why Jesus incidentally carried the cross,
然后被钉死 接着又复活
and then he was crucified and then he was born again.
做人确实
Okay，which is symbolic really of
只是一个象征
going through being a human being.
03 通过宽恕才能明白什么是爱
人通过宽恕 学习什么是爱
o the human learns through compassion.
When you have compassion for your anxiety，for your stress.
for feeling guilty，for the many mistakes.
犯下的错误 我们都会犯错
that we make emotionally and we all do.
没“人”是完美的
obody is perfect.
所有人都在学习
We are learning all the time.
如何宽容地看待 自已是谁 自已是什么
to have compassion for who and what we are.
通过宽恕 我们学会爱是什么
And it is through that compassion that we learn love.
除此以我，我们没有其他学习爱的方式
There's no other way that we learn love.
When you have campassion for yourself，
不论你有什么感受 你都能宽恕你自已
o matter how you are feeling，you forgive yourself.
同时 我们也能真正地爱上别人
It is then that we learn to truly love others.
因为你允许你多爱你自已 你就会允许你自己多爱别人
ecause only to the extent that you love yourself can you love another.
我们可以通过爱 通过宽恕
It is true that compassion and through that love that
逐渐见到真实
finally will realize the truth.
真实就是爱
The truth is love itself.
It is only through love that we become happy fulfilled beings.
接着 我们就会看到我们的永恒自性
And then，we discover our eternal nature.
人会死
Yes，the human dies，yes.
80岁 90岁 100多岁 肉体总有一天会消失
Eighty,ninety,hundred years of age,it passes away.
但是这个存有 永恒不灭
ut the being part,the part that is alive,
这个觉察一切 经历一切的存有
the being that is conscious，the being that truly experiences.
永恒不灭
is alive forever.
其实 这个存在也从未“生”过
Actually，it was never born.
我们真正的家 永恒爱的居所
It is esernal and our true home which is uncondithional love.
便是我们真正所在之处
ecomes where we go to.
这就是家 这就是天堂
Home.Heaven itself.
在家中 你是用永恒的生命去感受永恒的喜乐和永恒的爱
A life filled with a joy and love.
that can be explained with words.
04 你就是光，你就是爱
When I experienced my light experience.
at the Vancouver General Hospital，
我感到一直被爱着 我终于明白 我过去完全不知道爱是什么
I felt loved like I've never known love in my life.
A thousand times more than human love.
我同时感受我一直在家中 我一直在那片光里
And also I felt so at home.I felt I belonged in that light.
虽说这种感觉并未持续太久
it only lasted a few moments but the truth is that
不过我终于明白 生命的意义究竟是什么
in those moments I became chear about what life is all about.
学习爱的本质 就是去理解 我们就是这片光
It is learning thit love because this light is who we are.
做人 就是去体验这一切
And it is truly human that we experience it directly,
体验所有的二元对立
experience all polarities,
体验所有好事与坏事
all things that we call bad or not bad.
这一切都是为了让你体验到
there is just what we need in order to
你就是爱 你就是慈悲 你就是一切
experience love and compassion for ourselves.
开始就是结束 一切起于你 也终结于你
And it starts with you and ends with you，
因为一切你所看到的 你所感受的 你所经历的 都是你
ecause whoever you see and feel and experience is also you.
我们是一体
It's all one.
