Klara and the Sun

  《Klara and the Sun》是一本由Kazuo Ishiguro著作,Knopf出版的304图书,本书定价:Hardcover,页数:2021-3-2,特精心从网络上整理的一些读者的读后感,希望对大家能有帮助。

  《Klara and the Sun》

“Klara and the Sun”

《Klara and the Sun》读后感(二):Amorality of AF

然而我们依旧会被Klara所感动,这种情绪是如此真实以至于我以上关于amorality of the altruism not based on empathy的讨论无足轻重。

我认为小说里Josie对Klara的情感要比Klara对Josie复杂的多,而不只是很纯粹的friendship,读者从Klara的视角只能看到零碎的细节(说起来这部小说很现象学,describe or show things, not explain or categorize)。

《Klara and the Sun》读后感(三):Do AFs dream of sunbeams? (extended)

Tinted with the familiar undertone of mournfullness, I've worried from the start that this may turn unbearably nasty at any moment, say the B3s, the interaction, the waterfall, the bubble game, or the portrait, even Rick. I fear it turns out to be something like Never Let Me Go all over. So glad Ishiguro doesn't let any of that happen. So glad it's been kind and warm and ever so hopeful. O Klara is a doll with such a big human heart, from the moment she CHOSE Josie, she shows the best spirit of her kind and I sighed with content.

Klara is not what could be called agile, she observes mostly with patience, to the minutest details, her presence is like autome sunbeams, not particularly warm but definitely carries joy of just being there, and quite persistent, until to the last approaching steps of winter. She reflects, that's something. Took me awhile to understand the boxes, then it becomes vivid enough and I can see through her eyes. The incident with the angry bull reminds us of the cruel city world outside the pastor, and her identity as a surrogate, that's so sad, even when no one speaks sorrow out loud.

I have to think more about this pray-to-sun ritual, how Klara worships the sun and never regards it as mere energy source but more like a omniscient and omnipotent father.

Still, I am ever more grateful Ishiguro gives us Klara. She understands so much, more importantly, she seems to understand the essence of human emotions, despite what we do to hide our true intentions. She deserves a slow fade --- both regretful and at the same time seems so right.

《Klara and the Sun》读后感(四):We are special because we are loved

"The trouble is, Chrissie, you're like me. We're both of us sentimental. We can't help it. Our generation still carry the old feelings. A part of us refuses to let go. The part that wants to keep believing there's something unreachable inside each of us. Something that's unique and won't transfer. But there's nothign like that, we know that now. You know that. For people our age it's a hard one to let go. We have to let it go, Chrissie. There's nothing there. Nothing inside Josie that's beyond the Klaras of this world to continue."

"Then let me ask you something else. Let me ask you this. Do you believe in the human heart? I don't mean simply the organ, obviously, I'm speaking in the poetic sense. The human heart. Do you think there is such as thing? Something that makes each of us special and individual? And if we just suppose that there is. Then don't you think, in order to truly learn Josie, you'd have to learn not just her mannerisms but what's deeply inside her? Wouldn't you have to learn her heart?"

"I think I hate Capaldi because deep down I suspect he may be right. That what he claims is true. That science has now proved beyond doubt there's nothing so unique about my daughter, nothing there our modern tools can't excavate, copy, transfer. That people have been living with one another all this time, centuries. loving and hating each other, and all on a mistaken premise. A kind of superstition we kept going while we didn't know better."

"Mr Capaldi believed theere was nothing special inside Josie that couldn't be continued. He told the Mother he'd searched and searched in the wrong place. There was something very special, but it wasn't inside Josie. It was inside those who loved her. That's why I think now Mr Capaldi was wrong and I wouldn't have succeeded. So I'm glad I decided as I did." (from Klara)

即使有那么几次,Klara似乎感受到了类似于爱的情感,or is it kindness, longing, company.
