As a Man Thinketh

  《As a Man Thinketh》是一本由James Allen著作,Putnam Publishing Group出版的Hardcover图书,本书定价:$5.95,页数:72,特精心从网络上整理的一些读者的读后感,希望对大家能有帮助。

  《As a Man Thinketh》

●A self-help book published 115 years ago - the quality of your thoughts determine your quality of life

love this book which I d often return to.

As a man thinks, I shall be what I want to be.

  ●Notes

●the gods are ready to obey

The Law Of Attraction"

●Good thoughts make everything! A perfect book to read when you feel depressed, you will find energy in it.

  《As a Man Thinketh》读后感(一):Notes

uggested further reading: The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels

man is the sum of his thoughts.

y weeding out bad or useless thoughts, a person can bring joy, strength, peace and wisdom to his life.

ad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.”

Unhappy thoughts have a slew of unfortunate side effects: a higher heart rate, poorer sleep, headaches, and yes, wrinkles from all that frowning!

Directing your thoughts is crucial if you want to achieve any sort of goal. Whether you intend to reach new heights in your workplace, your relationships or your spiritual practice, it won’t be possible unless you focus your thoughts on that goal. This means letting go of all thoughts that distract you from your goals.

ut your mind is like a muscle; with practice, you can train it to think more effectively, positively and purposefully.

“Thought is the fount of action, life, and manifestation; make the fountain pure, and all will be pure.”

  《As a Man Thinketh》读后感(二):《As a man thinketh》读后感

在Youtube上第一次知道Tony Robbins,看了他的一些访谈和纪录片《I'm not your guru》,能感受他解决他人问题的决心和他的活力。

1 Evolutionary 2 Biological 3 Socio-cultural 4 Psychodynamic 5 Cognitive 6 Humanistic 7 Behavioral。

  《As a Man Thinketh》读后感(三):recommends it for: Everyone

imple, short, and yet amazing! This book can be read in 20 to 30 minutes. This is one of those books where every line is a seminar that can be reflected on and pondered. No fluff here.

It's the kind of book that you'll be reading and all of sudden, you have to put the book down to comprehend the magnitude of what is being said.

Thoughts are things. Read this book to find out how to put this universal law into action. Need I say more?

  ome of my favorite quotes:

  Thought and character are one.

The dreamers are the saviors of the world.

In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results, and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result. Chance is not.

A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.

Act is the blossom of thought, and joy and suffering are its fruits.

Circumstance does not make the man; it reveals him to himself.

Men do not attract that which they want, but that which they are.

Indigence and indulgence are the two extremes of wretchedness.

He who has conquered doubt and fear has conquered failure.

Thought allied fearlessly to purpose becomes creative force.

They who have no central purpose in their life fall an easy prey to petty worries, fears, troubles, and self-pityings.

Victories attained by right thought can only be maintained by watchfulness.

Men imagine that thought can be kept secret, but it cannot; it rapidly crystallizes into habit, and habit solidifies into circumstance.

There is no physician like cheerful thought for dissipating the ills of the body; there is no comforter to compare with good will for dispersing the shadows of grief and sorrow.

A man cannot directly choose his circumstances, but he can choose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet surely, shape is circumstances.
