Jean Phillips

The Winery
The wine of Xiaoying winery is the most original worship wine in California. This Cabernet Sauvignon based wine is produced in a small vineyard in the Oakville region of Napa. Each bottle costs more than 3000 dollars. It is the most expensive conventional wine in the United States.
Jean Phillips established a vineyard in 1986 and began selling fruit to local winemakers in Napa. A few years later, they decided to establish a winery. In 1992, the first batch of Xiaoying winery wines were listed. Robert Parker gave this first Vintage 99 points, which is incredible.
ince then, the 1997 and 2007 vintages have achieved the full score of 100 that the famous wine critic has dreamed of. The sale of wine is done through the mailing list, which has been full since 2000, and there are thousands of waiting lists.
Xiaoying winery's vineyard is located in the Oakville region in the south of Napa Valley. It mainly grows Cabernet Sauvignon, some Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and a small piece of everlasting longing for each other. The second flight, a sub brand wine of Xiaoying winery, is brewed from the younger vines of the vineyard. In 2012, everlasting longing for each other white wine was introduced. Although the initial price of this wine in 2012 was $250 per bottle, its price in the secondary market soon reached astronomical figures, as high as 10 times of the issuing price.
In 2006, Xiaoying winery was sold by Stanley Kroenke and Charles banks at an undisclosed price, which reportedly exceeded US $30million. Today, Kroenke owns Xiaoying winery.
