《发现的乐趣》影评(二):只是一点点摘抄短评放不开了
我本来没打算写影评,但想写的东西稍微有点多,所以……
“My interest in science is to simply find out about the world and the more I find out the better it is, like, to find out. ”
“you see, one thing is, I can live with doubt and uncertainty and not knowing. I think it’s much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate answers and possible beliefs and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I‘m not absolutely sure of anything and there are many things I don't know anything about, such as whether it means anything to ask why we're here, and what the question might mean. I might think about it a little bit and if I can't figure it out, then I go on something else, but I don't have to know an answer, I don't feel frighted by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purposes which is the way it really is so far as I can tell. It doesn't frighten me."
大概十六岁的时候因为偶然的原因了解到了费曼,当时读了很多他的传记以及其他物理学家和数学家的科普书。虽然我最终未能从事物理学或数学方面的工作,我依然记得那份不可磨灭的感动,探索世界的热情,好奇心,以及勇于尝试的心态。
最近因为转方向的原因稍微有些迷茫,面对着概念的怪物有些不知所措。但我想,在我的生命中依然有很多不得不做,必须要做的事情,那些事情是我前进的动力,比方说还是想从事艺术或设计方面的工作,还是想学学数学(如果不懂微积分我的人生是不完整的!)和编程(虽然我稍微会那么一点点),文学创作就更是了。
稍微放松一些,专注于做事而不是强调某种结果,或许是更重要的。我其实觉得费曼强调的依靠兴趣做事不如换成用非功利的心态做事这种说法更好,有太多的事情强调结果而忽视了探索事物本身的乐趣,人应该保持一种宽容的探索之心。
关于装饰的问题,人文学科其实强调圈子,组织特别多,可能是因为没有统一的标准,所以很容易变得浮夸。我想,如果一个人暂时没办法找到能和他交流的人,保持沉默是最好的。有时候朋友并不可靠,特别是在某种名义下的组织和团体之中,你会为了这些人而降低自己建立友谊的标准,这对人的损害很大。所以,保持沉默,直到真正值得你开口的人出现为止。当然,也可能孤独地面对某个想法终生,即使如此,也要反对无意义的交流和谈话。
来面对那些未知吧,暂停思考进入到真正重要的事物之中。
